I was tasked to choose a painting at the National Museum Wales and create a piece of artwork in order to make it accessible for the blind and partially sighted. 

I created a soundscape in the form of an audio descriptive folk song based on a painting by Richard Wilson painted around 1765 called Dolbadarn Castle. The song sets the scene of the Welsh landscape painting, it describes the scene across a lake in North Wales named Llyn Peris and Dolbadarn Castle that stands looking over the lake. The display is a section of the painting that shows two men sitting on the bank of the lake looking over towards the castle.
